Phoenix Arizona– March 22, 2004 -- USGN, Inc. a leader in providing customizable, hosted project portfolio management solutions has announced the highly anticipated launch of a major new upgrade to its OPM PowerSuite software called UserGroups. The product was released in February and features many enhancements requested by USGN’s customers and partners.
Customers will now be able to create up to 64 unique user groups through a feature-rich, role-based permissioning tool. Currently, most industry user permissions are based on a few hierarchical user levels, which means, for example, that since both a contractor and an architect may fall under the same level, they would share the same permissions in such a system with no distinction between them. With UserGroups, customers can establish a “General Contractor” group and an “Architect” group that are unique with granular controls. Each user group has its own permissions that apply to the core software and advanced permissions that apply to both FormBuilder and ReportBuilder.
In addition to sophisticated permissions, UserGroups allows each group to have its own custom horizontal menu bar which will greatly improve the way each user interacts with the software. The user menu would contain only the functionality that is important to the users of that group. An accounting menu would look very different than a general contractor menu. The general contractor would not even see the links to the project cost report. This capability enables customers to set up their project sites based on how they work (i.e. adapt to their “Best Practices”).
In addition to the new User Group functionality, UserGroup has been enhanced for performance and usability which will dramatically increase the productivity of everyone involved in a project or program. As with all USGN upgrades, new features are seamlessly incorporated into the current system

PHOENIX, AZ, October 3, 2006 - USGN, Inc., a leading provider of web-based collaborative project management software, today announced that two of its customers, Wild Oats Markets and Menemsha Companies Construction Solutions were awarded Constructech 2006 Vision Awards. The Constructech Vision Awards honor those companies that have used leading-edge technology to solve critical business issues.
Wild Oats and Menemsha Construction Solutions use USGN’s collaborative project management platform for advanced applications that they easily customized for their own company best practices. USGN is a technology solution that is integrated at the enterprise level across the entire organization to help drive projects for optimized productivity and bottom line results. USGN has helped these firms save as much as 10 percent based on total project cost while increasing performance by as much as 50 percent.
The Awards are as follows:
· Wild Oats Markets (Boulder, CO) received the Gold Vision Award for the Retail Chain category.
